Dr. Wu completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Masters of Science in Cell and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He subsequently completed his Medical Doctorate at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury, Ontario in 2018 and went on to complete his post-graduate residency training in Internal Medicine at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 2022.
Throughout his residency training, he was intrigued by most medical subspecialities and patients with complex and rare illnesses. It was for this reason he decided to complete his training in Internal Medicine. While passionate about general internal medicine, Luke sought out extra training experiences in cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, endocrinology and critical care medicine. He is also an avid user and teacher of Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and has participated in national and local POCUS teaching workshops.
Having spent part of his medical training in Muskoka, and as a native of the neighboring region (Haliburton, Ontario), Luke is passionate about living and practicing medicine in the South Muskoka region.
